The Service of the Holy "Prodromiţa" Icon

Written in the neumatic notation about 100 years ago by skemonk Nectarie, named in his time "the protopsalt of the Holy Mount",The Service of the Holy "Prodromiţa" Icon was copied and transliterated in the Latin alphabet by the author of this paper during his stay at Mount Athos several years ago. The service book as written by skemonk Nectarie is to be found in a stichirarion which differs from its Greek models particularly in its containing the said complete service book, dedicated to the icon of the Holy Mother found in the Prodromu Monastery at Mount Athos.
